May into June...

The first week or so of May...Honey Bunches was sent to Michigan for a "2 week" job. Ha! He was there from the first week of May until the first week of June; no trips home, few days off...heck of a 2 week job, huh? Anyway, while he did his thang in Michigan, the Tootie Frootie and myself were snug at home spring cleaning. We got the closets cleaned and cleared. Now we are ready for a fall time yard sale! :0)

The third week of May, my sister-in-law, God bless her, gets a wild hair to drive to Michigan to see my honey and her honey. Wow...what a trip. Two 20-somethings goofballs, 2 toddlers, 1 car, 14 hours, 856 miles. Let me just say again...wow! It was an interesting trip, lots of bonding time with the sister-in-law and lots of goldfish consumed by the toddlers! :0) While visiting in Michigan, we bowled and played at the park. That about sums up our adventures there. I did enjoy Olive Garden for the first time in my life. It was good, but I'll stick to my Red Lobster when we go to the city for a meal! :0)

When we got home from Michigan, Andee and I began packing every possession of ours into the ole' camper for our summer in Tennessee. Ricky got home on June 4th from Michigan and we were set to leave for Tennessee on June 9th. Eh...not so much. Refer to this post for an explanation of how crazy Ricky's company is. :0/ Anyway...so on June 7th, my love gets a call from the ole' boss (BTW...not the boss's fault) and the hubs has to make a quick trip to Texas to install a valve. Ricky and a fitter traveled to the Lonestar state to fix the valve, then headed home to hook up to the campers and head to Tennessee. Well, Ricky made it home on Friday, June 11th, we were up at 4am on the 12th to leave, fixing to pull out of the drive at 9:30am...until Ricky noticed a bad tire. Yay! So, he had to take the tire off and tote it to WalMart's Tire and Lube NOT-SO-Express and get a new tire. The tire was removed from the camper, still on the wheel, and it took Wal-Mart 3 hours to put a new tire on. Wow! So, as you probably can tell, we didn't leave on Saturday. We enjoyed a nice supper my parents brought over to us (which, btw...the fresh garden cucumbers were AWESOME!). Sunday, we were up and at 'em early and headed out. Ten hours later, we rolled in to the RV park in Tennessee. Its a nice park and has a pool, so Andee and I are pretty happy. We've only been once, but I have a feeling we'll get pretty fond of the kiddie pool! :0)

Look for pictures soon... :0(
